Hey, hey out there!
Wh-where has she been??
Well, I'm sorry. I really am. But there has been so much anger and depression about my unlucky London trip I wasn't able to write like... A few months.
Really sorry!
So what am I up to?
After arriving in good old Germany again I sued the company that organized the most horrible vacation of my life. It failed. I lost a lot of money. I'm over it now.
I got a internship in a little church in my hometown. Not the way you may be thinking now. I was part of its own broadcast agency. I learned how to produce series and record life speeches. It was much fun and it was interesting too but very exhausting.
This internship is over for one week now and I'm in Spain currently. No, not another job experience, don't worry. Just 'relaxing' in the capital: Madrid!
I have been here before but it's as beautiful as I remembered. It's crowded like London but looks like a beautiful, small andalusien town with it's terracotta walls and the tiny streets.
I think I'm kind of a capital tourist.
But what is lazy me doing here, alone, in big Madrid?
You know museums are the love of my life and after seeing louvre, Museo vaticano and the British museum the next one on my list is Prado. No, I haven't been there, yet. But tomorrow it's Prado day, amigos!
Today I have been to Reina Sofia. It is a museum of modern art but it was very disappointing. Photographing was not allowed and the main theme of the collection was the war.
On my first day on Saturday I walked through the city while looking for things to do. Ended up drinking a lot of tea and visiting the big cathedral where a celebration was taking place.
The Spanish food es muy bueno but there is too much garlic and meat. Its like you're eating garlic-tinked meat with aioli and some garlic flavoured potatos all days. Okay, it is not that bad. But a little bit.
Apropos, muy bueno. I'm a bit in trouble by speaking not one word in Spanish. It's a shame I never learned it because I'm too lazy or too dumb. But my average English is not any help in this Spanish jungle. Nearly nobody understands me. You may think because of my bad English, but no, because nobody speaks English here. Even the receptionist and the tourist information. I think the mass of Spanish tourists never made it necessary. I always feel like a fool pointing at the menus like a shy child. Phew. The borders of language.
New topic. I love my hostel room. It is a very tall one for a hostel and it has its own bathroom. It's in the middle of the city centre and so it's easy to go for a walk to eat something or go shopping.
It has a small TV with only Spanish channels and huge bed. There is a little desk, it looks old and used, but I think it is awesome. I stuffed it with all of my make-up thingies and accessories and it looks a bit full now though I love it.
You know what I love, too?
T-t-t-topshop, chicas!
I know, it is way to expencive but I was juuust looking and...
Well, it was on sale. And it's blue. Aaand it is a jacket.
Love it.
I will go to sephora soon. You will get to know, what will be called mine after that.
Such a long post. But worth it. I hope you are not disappointed with me. I promise the blog will go on with every day life posts or something about beauty or books or whatever!
Photos will follow, but my mobile isn't capable of uploading photos to blogspot.
Have a nice time, wherever you are!
xoxo
